You stare out the window on a rainy day, hear a certain song on the radio, or walk through the store and be hit with a cloud of sweet odour that brings you back to a time, a place, a person. And no matter how hard you try to fight off the memory it floods into your mind, full of emotional punches that hit you in the mind, gut, heart; causing pain, joy, sorrow, love, or hatred.

We were created with such a perfect and awe inspiring brain, to be able to process sight, sound, smell, taste and touch and in that fraction of a second use it to unlock a room of memories stored for whatever reason in the depths of our being. To bring back memories and catch our breath, release a smile, drop a tear, feel the flutter in our stomach or clench our fists because it's more then just a memory but a deep emotion left in our muscles and joints and the marrow of our bones by past experience that shaped who were are today.

I send out a cry of thanks to our loving creator, Jehovah, for this gift.
How beneficial it will be when we welcome back the dead and share our experiences in this time of the end as proof of Jehovah's power, justice, wisdom and love. So that all on earth will praise him joyously by choice and know that he truly is a keeper of promises.

Life like a dream

Life can feel real, touchable, tasteable at the moment it's happening and it can also feel like a dream, disconnected, and not really how things are supposed to be. Most days life just happens, it comes and goes without seeming monumental or special. And sometimes average days are the biggest days in our life and we don't realize it until much later.

I didn't know the day that I got pregnant but looking back now I see that that average day came and went without me have a single clue that it would forever change my future as well as the future of everyone I came into contact with from then on.

I don't want to miss the important things because I walk through life like a dream. I'm creating this blog to help me stop and breath in the little things in life that make us who we are.
